Carlos Tapia is a lawyer and founding partner of Steck, Tapia, Collantes Abogados, with more than 10 years of experience in Construction Law, Arbitration, Civil, Administrative and Real Estate Law, as well as in Works for Taxes and Public–Private Partnerships (PPP).
A lawyer from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), he has provided direct legal advice on construction projects, standing out for his focus on the prevention and resolution of disputes on site.
He has specialized training in international FIDIC and NEC contracts, contract and public project management, and BIM methodology.
He is the author of academic publications and has been a speaker at various forums on Construction Law and PPP. Moreover, he is an active member of organizations such as the Peruvian Society of Construction Law, the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation, and WAPPP.
