Jimena Meza is an Associate at Steck Tapia Collantes Abogados. She holds a law degree from ESAN University, where she graduated with honors and ranked first in the Class of 2020-II.
She has a solid track record in arbitration and public procurement, having served as Legal Counsel for the Arbitration Secretariat at the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) Arbitration Center. In this role, she managed domestic and international arbitrations involving construction, civil, and commercial law, as well as public procurement disputes.
Furthermore, she has experience in the public sector as a lawyer for the Technical Secretariat of the Collegiate Bodies and the Dispute Resolution Tribunal of OSIPTEL, where she provided counsel on administrative sanctioning proceedings and unfair competition cases.
Jimena holds a Diploma in Energy Law and Regulation from ESAN University and has specialized in Public Procurement Arbitration and Administrative Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). She has been a speaker at the “XIII International Arbitration Competition” and a researcher for the Antitrust Moot organized by the Universidad del Pacífico.
